The outlined plans were consolidated by an agreement that was concluded by the committee and the Association of Technology Circle Participants on the sidelines of the conference.
As Andrey Borshchevsky noted, one of the priority areas of the roadmap for the development of technological education for schoolchildren in St. Petersburg will be the creation of STI circles in schools - first in pilot educational institutions with gradual expansion to the entire network of schools in the city.
“The implementation of the road map will allow us to open clubs based on the NTI Club Movement model in at least 50% of schools in St. Petersburg by the beginning of the 2023/2024 academic year. Also among the main areas of work are the inclusion of clubs in the preparation program for the NTI Olympics, conducting NTI Lessons in schools, training mentors and integrating the system for recording the achievements of city schoolchildren with the digital platform “Talent” of the Club Movement, noted Andrey Borshchevsky. “Our goal is for at least 10,000 schoolchildren to take part in the NTI CD Olympiad annually, for at least 1,000 schoolchildren to go through competitions and project schools of the Circle Movement, and to involve more than 100 teachers in this work annually.”
