Courses of the B. Tech. Programmes are taught within a credit-based semester system governed by the regulations of the semester system and choice-based credit system following the National Education Policy (NEP)-2020 curriculum framework at the University. For the B.Tech. Programmes, students are required to follow common courses on the fundamentals of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Computational Skills, Communications, Workshops, and Laboratory work during the first year and humanities, science, and management courses during the other semesters of the programme along with the departmental courses. Such a requirement is multidisciplinary in its approach and will provide adequate exposure to knowledge and skills essential for quality research for students of this region. As per NEP-2020 the courses of B.Tech. programme has been designed.
