In a recent press release, CaGIS shared the following on Dr. Yao’s selection: “The Cartography and Geographic Information Society is pleased to announce the selection of Dr. Xiaobai Angela Yao as Editor-in-Chief for its journal, Cartography and Geographic Information Science. Dr. Yao is a professor in the Department of Geography at the University of Georgia and has been actively serving as an Associate Editor with Dr. Eric Delmelle, the current卡吉斯（Cagis）杂志的总编辑（Kagis Journal）也在卡吉斯（Cagis）官员旋转时（2020-2024），并担任AutoCarto 2022会议的联合计划主席。
