来源:Aviation24.beTwelve people have died after a skydiving aircraft crashed shortly after takeoff near Butler Airport in the U.S. state of Missouri on Sunday.
According to local authorities, the single-engine turboprop Pacific Aerospace P750 aircraft departed at approximately 11:20 a.m. local time. Shortly after becoming airborne, the aircraft reportedly made a left turn before crashing into a field around 300 metres from the runway.
The victims include eleven skydivers and the pilot. Their identities have not yet been released.
Airport manager Dennis Jacobs said the aircraft was operated by Skydive Kansas City. Emergency services responded to the scene, but there were no survivors.
The crash is now under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), which will determine the cause of the accident.
The incident marks one of the deadliest skydiving-related aviation accidents in the United States.
