Emirates retrofitted aircraft to Beirut and Beijing:

Emirates, a Dubai-based airline, is set to fly the upgraded B777, EK953/954 to Beirut and EK306/307 to Beijing.

EK953 departs for Lebanon’s capital, Beirut, and EK954 departs from Beirut. This schedule is helpful to passengers planning to fly to and from Lebanon to major cities, such as New York, Melbourne, Sydney, Boston, etc…

EK306 departs from Dubai to Beijing, and EK307 departs from Beijing to Dubai. Beijing becomes the fourth destination in mainland China to receive the airline’s upgraded aircraft.

Apart from the added premium economy, the retrofitted aircraft also features interiors with new design elements, including modern colour palettes, specially designed Ghaf Tree motifs, and wood finish across all cabins.

Retrofitted Boeing 777

The Boeing 777 is a wide-body, long-haul aircraft which has been refurbished with extra seats, a cabin and an upgraded business class as a retrofitted Boeing 777.

Emirates’ retrofitted Boeing 777 has four cabins, including a new ‘premium economy’ class, an improved business class in a 1-2-1 layout and an updated first class and economy class.

The refurbished aircraft has 260 latest-generation economy seats, 24 premium economy seats, 40 business class seats and eight first class suites.

Perks of premium economy are a business class-like experience with spacious seats, recline, full leg and footrests, adjustable headrests, in-seat charging points, a wood-finished side cocktail table, a 13.3-inch TV screen, a generously sized pillow and blankets. It includes all at a more accessible price.

Airlines like Emirates are upgrading the Boeing 777 to compete with the newer aircraft like the Boeing 777X and Airbus A350 variants.
