A Tailor-Made Product
提供的餐食会定期轮换。 Available alongside the existing in-flight menu, the first dishes to be served include Cape Malay braised chicken with cashew nuts, mango, and coriander for Business Class, and Cod Mbongo, a Cameroonian traditional dish, in Economy Class.
Speaking about the new menu options, Philip Mortier, Inflight Product Manager at Brussels Airlines, commented:
At Brussels Airlines, we aim to offer a product that we call ‘a boutique hotel in the air.’ That means a tailor-made product that makes everyone feel at home. Offering meals inspired by the rich cuisine of the African continent reinforces that promise even further. Whether passengers want a final taste of home, to hold on to the feeling of their vacation a little longer, or to discover new flavors, we are confident these African-inspired meals will be appreciated.”
Investing in the Passenger Experience
The introduction of the African-inspired meal options is just the latest in several investments the airline has made to improve the passenger journey. It recently introduced new tableware and service procedures in an update to its onboard dining experience, and on flights departing from Brussels, passengers can enjoy meals from Celebrity Chef Glenn Verhasselt. The airline is also revamping its lounge, The Loft, at Brussels airport, which will reopen with a brand new design by the end of Summer 2026.
