This effort will allow the program office to develop, test, and evaluate rigid wall shelter designs that incorporate the latest material and manufacturing technologies to improve energy efficiency, reduce weight, improve supportability, and increase mobility. It will also allow the program office to incorporate user community feedback to reduce the proliferation of non-standard shelter use across the Army, thereby reducing sustainment cost for these items.
