班加罗尔将通过四条铁路线连接至城市 100 公里范围内的多个目的地

Earlier, Karnataka Infrastructure Development Minister M B Patil had voiced several railway-related demands concerning the state. He sought the Union Government to develop quadruple railway lines from Bengaluru to Tumakuru, Mysuru, Hindupura via Gauribidanuru and Kolara.索曼纳积极回应这些要求，表示班加罗尔至图马库鲁四线铁路线的勘测已经完成，招标过程将很快开始。
The project is expected to be completed within the next two years. He added that it has also been decided to undertake a survey for the proposed Bengaluru–Mysuru quadruple railway line.
Several proposals
针对帕蒂尔关于在 Sakleshapura 和 Gundya 之间建立平行公路和铁路走廊以加强沿海连通性的提议，索曼纳同意班加罗尔和曼加罗尔之间的四线铁路线是必要的，并将予以考虑。
Somanna further said that work on the Tumakuru–Chitradurga–Davanagere railway line is progressing at a brisk pace. He added, “Patil has also sought doubling of the track on this route, and the proposal would also be considered.”
MP Dr C N Manjunath、MLA C P Yogeeshwara、班加罗尔南区专员 Yashavantha Gurikar、西南铁路首席行政官 A K Gupta、铁路部门附加经理 Praveen Katarki、基础设施部联合秘书 Chandrashekhara 和其他高级官员出席了该活动。
他进一步宣布，目前班加罗尔和维贾亚普拉之间每周运行两班的专列将成为永久性服务，并且路线上的小问题也将得到解决。
