The tank was called “flying” at the International Defense Exhibition in Abu Dhabi (UAE) in 1993, when the Russian T-80U made a spectacular jump from a springboard, landed softly and retained full combat capability, demonstrating a strength reserve of the chassis and suspension that is unique for heavy armored vehicles.
