  • How to Use This Crosswind Calculator

  • 输入您的跑道航向。 Pick the runway number from the dropdown (27 = 270°) or type the magnetic heading directly. For the most accurate result, use the published heading from your airport diagram rather than multiplying the runway number by 10.
  • Enter the wind direction in degrees magnetic. Pull this from the ATIS,METAR, or tower broadcast. Remember, wind is always reported as the direction it blows from.
  • Enter the wind speed in knots. If the METAR shows gusts (example: 18G25KT), enter 25. You want to plan for the worst case, not the average.
