6.3 Professional services cover legal, accounting, auditing, architecture and engineering activities, technical testing and analysis, scientific research and development, management and management consultancy activities, information technology related services, advertising, specialised design and related services, etc. The value added of professional services increased from $126.0 billion in 2020 to $136.4 billion in 2021 (or 5.0% of GDP). The employment number was 243 900 persons in 2021 (or 6.6% of total employment).
